Board of Supervisors Voted to Save the Park

On August 22, 2023, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors voted, unanimously, to start the process that can, ultimately, return Del Paso Park to the local community. To de-incorporate Del Paso Park (i.e. remove it from the City of Sacramento), the border change must be approved by the California Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO).

Supervisor Rich Desmond's Opening Remarks
